Dr. Glenn M. Cope, a professional photographer for 30 years, is PPA Certified and holds the Photographic Craftsman degree from the PPA. He is an Approved Photographic Instructor and a Fujifilm Talent Team Member. For an online press packet click here.
Cope and his wife, Barbara, own and operate Creative Photography, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. He is a full-time instructor at Northern Oklahoma College in photography and digital imaging.
Currently he teaches traditional photography courses Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced Photography courses, Light and Lighting, and various photo seminars,and Digital Imaging/Photoshop II, & III, and humanities courses.
Having taught photography for the past 20 years, Cope calls upon his experiences as a studio owner in Memphis, Tenn., and Tonkawa, Okla., and as a freelance photographer. Outside of Oklahoma, he has led tours and taught workshops in England, Cancun, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and other parts of the Southwest.
He served on the board for the Professional Photographers of Oklahoma and served as Secretary, Second Vice President, First Vice President, and President. He was selected to the PPA Training Class of 2003. Cope serves on the local board for the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.
Cope has held office and served on the boards for the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association and the Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges. While in Memphis, Cope served the Memphis Professional Photographic Guild as president and secretary-treasurer.
In addition to PPA and PPO, Cope holds memberships in the Student Photographic Society and serves on the advisory board, Photo Educators Imaging Association, the Society for Photographic Education, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and the HTML Writers Guild.
Cope holds the B.A., M.A., and M.Th. from Harding University; a Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary; and the Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America.
